Sustainability

Our
Story
My Sustainability Commitment
Sustainability isn't just a business practice for me—it's a personal journey that shapes every decision I make in my event planning and stationery business.
I'm constantly learning, evolving, and finding new ways to reduce our environmental impact while still creating beautiful, meaningful celebrations for my couples.
My Approach
Thoughtful Stationery Solutions
I recognise that paper-based stationery has an environmental footprint. That's why I always begin conversations with couples about digital stationery options to minimise our carbon impact from the start. When we do choose printed materials, mostly for the "On The Day" (I go Digital beforehand), I always try to prioritise recycled cardstock and design pieces that can be repurposed as keepsakes—transforming name tags/escort cards into bookmarks, or save-the-dates and wedding invitations into framed keepsakes for example. over paper I encourage to be either recycled or if possible donated. Every design is meant to consider its full lifecycle, not just its wedding day moment.
Local-First Event Planning
For London celebrations, I work exclusively with local suppliers to reduce transport emissions and support our community. For destination weddings in Portugal, as much as possible, I partner with regional vendors who understand both the landscape and sustainable practices. This local approach doesn't just reduce our carbon footprint—it creates more authentic, connected celebrations.
Mindful Design Philosophy
From the initial concept to the final clean-up, I strive to weave sustainability considerations into every planning decision. This means thinking about waste reduction, energy efficiency, seasonal and local sourcing, and creating events that leave a positive impact on their venues and communities.
I'm committed to transparency about this journey and I'm always seeking better solutions and alternative eco-friendly materials, learning from other environmentally conscious businesses, and listening to couples who share these values.
Because the most beautiful celebrations are those that honour not just the couple and our culture, but the world we all share.
